This Privacy Policy describes how DELIBERIZE LLC ("Deliberize," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Deliberize Discover platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Deliberize Discover is a website research tool that organizes technical observations and research questions for attorney review.

This policy explains our practices; it is not a request for consent to optional tracking or to share an inquiry with a law firm.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information You Provide

When you register for an account, request access, or contact us, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Mailing address
• Business or firm name
• Employer and professional credentials (e.g., bar number)
• Information you voluntarily include in an inquiry or an enabled intake form, such as websites visited and relevant dates

1.2 Payment Information

We process payments through secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers. Our payment processors may collect billing name, billing address, and payment card details in accordance with their own privacy policies.

1.3 Scan Data and Detection Reports

When you use the Service to scan websites, we collect and store the following data server-side:

• Scanned Websites ("Projects"): The URLs and domains you submit for scanning, along with metadata about the target websites (page structure, network requests, third-party resources, cookies, tracking pixels, and accessibility elements detected during the scan).
• Detection Reports: Results generated by our scanning engine, including technical detections, legacy statutory labels, evidence snapshots, and severity assessments.
• Legal Memos: research notes and investigation worksheets produced from scan results.
• Website Network Data: HTTP request and response data, third-party script inventories, cookie inventories, session replay tool detections, consent mechanism analysis, and request patterns observed during scans.
• Scan Configurations ("User Content"): Your scan settings, filters, jurisdiction selections, statute preferences, and any notes or annotations you add to scan results.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain information through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies, including:

• IP address and approximate geolocation
• Browser type, version, and language
• Operating system and device type
• Pages viewed, features used, and actions taken within the Service
• Referring URL and search terms
• Date and time of access, session duration

1.5 Information We Do Not Collect

Deliberize Discover does not collect biometric data from users of the Service. While the Service may detect biometric-related APIs and technologies on scanned third-party websites as part of its violation detection functionality, no biometric identifiers or biometric information is collected from or about our users.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Provide and operate the Service: Process scans, generate detection reports and legal memos, and deliver scan results to you.
• Account management: Create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and process payments.
• Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
• Communications: Send you service-related notifications, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
• Security and compliance: Detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
• Legal and regulatory: Respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process, and to protect our rights.

3. How We Share Your Information

We use service providers to operate Discover. Information may be disclosed as described below. A report purchase does not include the identity or contact details of a prospective client.

• Service providers: Hosting and deployment (Vercel), database, storage and authentication (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery where enabled. Google sign-in is available through the authentication flow. Existing integrations may include PostHog for product analytics; optional analytics must be separately enabled. Provider processing is subject to the applicable service arrangement and provider notice.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Protection of rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Deliberize, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred to the successor entity.
• At your direction: If a consumer intake feature is enabled, the form must identify the receiving firm and the information to be shared before you submit. We do not treat browsing or checking a domain as consent to send a lead to a firm. A firm that receives your information handles it under its own privacy notice.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Maintain your session and authentication state
• Remember your preferences and scan configurations
• Analyze usage and improve the Service
• Prevent fraud and enhance security

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

5. Data Storage and Security

Account, purchase and scan records are stored using service-provider infrastructure. We use access controls and authentication for restricted materials. Security measures include:

• HTTPS for data in transit
• Access controls and authentication requirements

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and scan data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information after account closure as required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or for legitimate business purposes. Deletion requests are reviewed in light of purchased-material access, accounting, legal process, backups and preservation obligations. We do not promise that deleting an account immediately deletes every record or copy.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Portability: Request a portable copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
• Opt-out: Contact us about applicable rights concerning sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling. Optional analytics is separate from the service cookies needed for authentication and security.
• Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8. State Privacy Rights

Your rights and our duties depend on the law that applies, the type of information and any relevant thresholds or exceptions. Where applicable, rights can include access, correction, deletion, portability, limits on sensitive-information use, opt-outs and appeal of a denied request. We may need to verify identity or an authorized agent's authority. Contact info@deliberize.com to make a request or appeal. We do not require a purchase to consider a privacy request.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. Website captures may include information in requests, responses or page content. We must handle information we collect under applicable law; a page being publicly accessible does not eliminate privacy duties.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Where applicable law requires consent or another form of notice for a change in processing, an updated page alone does not replace that requirement.
